Obey Sweatshirt

For my photograph, I decided to take a picture of my friend wearing her new sweatshirt. I chose this particular sweatshirt because I thought it was different, and I would love to make an advertisement for this product. I would want the model to stand in front of an attractive background that catches people's eyes, so I chose this image of the woman in the background. However, there are many distracting elements in the background that take away from the ascetic of the subject. 
The first steps I took when editing this image was cropping out the chair, ski equipment, and the extra wall space. I then decided to adjust the levels so that the lighting was balanced. Next, I added cooling filter 80 because I thought it really enhanced the blues in the backdrop. I enhanced it to 36%. Lastly, I wanted to enhance the pinks in the image, so I added this color to the background and to the model, but took it away from the white wall, so that all the places that had color were enhanced and the whites stayed as they were originally taken.
