About Me

Basic Information About Me

Hello, my name is Chloe Donnell and I am currently a Sophomore at High Point University. I chose to major in Strategic Communications, because I want to work in media eventually. I also love to write, and English has always been one of my favorite subjects in school. I was born in Manhattan New York, but am currently living in New Jersey. I have two older brother, and one younger brother. My favorite color is blue, and I will try most foods, regardless how adventurous they are.

Hobbies and Personal Interests

I love the area I grew up in, and often miss being home and being around my family. However, I enjoy being away at school because I get to spend my free time doing one of my favorite activities, which is hanging out with the best friends I have made here. Another strong interest and passion I have is in music. I do not play an instrument, however, I love learning about different types and genres of music and singing. I also enjoy physical activities and working out because I value staying healthy and fit. Adding to my value of personal health, I love eating food that is good for me. I like exploring new cuisines and the cultures behind them. Both my grandparents went to culinary school, so their love for food was definitely passed down to me. Something odd and unique about myself is that I have never broken a bone, gotten stung by a bee, or had any serious medical issues (like major illnesses, or any kind of surgery). I am very lucky.

I hope you have a better understanding of who I am and maybe even share some interests!
-Chloe

So much goes into what makes a lay out effective, and if it is properly executed the story you are telling will be much more appreciated. A poorly done lay out can really take away from the quality of your article. Here are some examples of lay outs handled successfully,  and lay outs that have flaws. A Good Lay Out I was impressed with this lay out for a number of reasons. What first stood out to me was the leading image. This is an important component when completing a lay out. The biggest picture in the lay out is what the reader's eyes are drawn to first. In Over the Hill and Under the Hoop, the biggest picture does a fantastic job of giving the reader a clear first impression of what the article is going to discuss. It is an action shot that shows the sport that will be talked about, a sense of team work, and the p...
